Karl Genest
President and Founder

Karl Genest founded PrezExpert in early 2014 with a simple mission: to help organisations of all sizes to bring order to “presentation chaos” by offering complementary state-of-the-art training and coaching to Canadian business people.
As an executive or as a senior consultant, Karl has had the opportunity to work closely with the senior management teams of Bombardier, BRP, CN Rail, and several others, on strategic or Board-level presentations. In 2013, he was hand-picked by BRP to lead the creation of a key presentation delivered to financial analysts ahead of the company’s highly successful IPO.
Karl has been recognised by clients as a top presentation expert combining an acute sense of structure and clarity with a flair for effective visuals. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. Early in his career, he gained precious experience as a consultant for Bain & Company (Toronto) and Groupe SECOR (Montreal).
On the personal side, Karl loves trail running and listens to a broad range of musical styles, with a "soft spot" for 1980s alternative rock.
Benoit Lévesque
Presentation Designer

After graduating from Montreal’s Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) business school in 1998 with a B.B.A. degree, Benoit Lévesque began his professional career in marketing before turning to media and advertising research. He worked for more than 15 years in that industry, on behalf of major organisations such as Astral Media, subsequently acquired by Bell Canada. He acted as Director of Research and Business Development for both organisations from 2011 to 2016.
In the course of his career, Benoit has created thousands of presentations for a wide variety of business purposes: sales pitches, board presentations, corporate overviews, strategic plans, training material, conferences and more.
Since joining PrezExpert, Benoit has also developed an in-depth expertise in the programming of highly functional Powerpoint templates.
Benoit is recognised for his rigour, his strong analytical skills and his visual creativity.
On the personal side, Benoit loves to shoot down mountains on his snowboard and is a huge hockey fan.
Kim Moore
Trainer and Coach

Kim Moore joined PrezExpert in January 2019 after a long and successful career with Bell Canada. Over the years, Kim has developed a solid experience in many areas of facilitation, coaching, onboarding, employee engagement, training and training program development. At Bell she also gained precious insights into the telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining PrezExpert, Kim managed the Network New Grad program for several years and coached many new graduates who were preparing presentations for senior executives. Since joining PrezExpert, Kim has led multiple coaching sessions and facilitated many workshops.
Kim is recognized for her creativity and friendly demeanour. She is motivating and positive with excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Kim is a life-long learner who holds a certification in Adult Education from Humber College; a Business Analyst certification from York University; and a Management (CIM) certification from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, NS.
Kim’s interests include reading, travel, photography, watching sports, music, astronomy, and spending time with family and friends.
David Braun

David Braun holds a bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Conflict Management and completed his Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of London, England. Since then, David has coached, trained and consulted for a wide variety of public and private organizations within Canada and internationally.
Prior to joining PrezExpert, David has created and delivered thousands of hours of presentations and training to executives, managers and employees in government, telecommunications, human services and financial services industries. David is also passionate about coaching individuals and teams. He is known for his positive energy, creative insights and perceptive facilitation skills.
Throughout his career, David’s commitment to serve his clients with excellence has led him to be a lifelong learner, earning certifications in Mediation, Negotiation, and Interpersonal Skills. He has also earned a candidate status as a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and
the Associate Coaching Certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
On the personal side, David loves creative writing, hiking with his wife and daughters, reading books on technology trends, classic novels and business development.
Charlotte Verbiest

Charlotte Verbiest is trilingual and holds a master’s degree from ESC Rennes Business School. She is a skilled speaker with expertise in productivity coaching and workshop facilitation for large Canadian corporations. Her consulting background gives her a deep understanding of how companies can optimize performance. Charlotte also contributed to the launch of PrezExpert and worked closely with President Karl Genest to develop the company methodology.
Charlotte is known for her quick analytical thinking, her creativity, her professional attitude, and her positive energy. She strives to help and empower high-performing individuals and organizations to reach their full potential.
On a personal side, having lived and worked in 6 different countries, Charlotte loves traveling, hiking in nature and spending time on the lake.
Svea Braun

Svea Braun is a sought-after speaker and lecturer in educational and non-profit sectors. Her
Mass Communications and Journalism/Public Relations degree has served her in years of
marketing consultation, creative communication and fundraising for multi-national organizations.
Living and working in 11 different countries: Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, Svea brings
her love of culture and curiosity to every personal and professional interaction. Empowering her clients and students to discover and express their unique voice, bringing their ideas to fruition, is one of her greatest fulfillments as a coach and speaker. She is known for her professional, positive, can-do approach to challenges, her attention to detail and her ability to articulate complex ideas in an approachable way.
On a personal side, Svea is passionate about the performing arts, enjoys outdoor exploration
and adventuring with her husband and their 4 teenaged daughters.
Luc Deslauriers
Graphic Designer

Luc holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has more than 25 years of experience in the graphic design industry, including working for Société Radio-Canada, BRP's Design & Innovation Center and CCM Hockey's marketing department.
Throughout his career, Luc was recognized for his creativity and his persistence to provide the best solution to meet the needs of his clients. He is a team player that you can rely on.
Luc joined the PrezExpert team as a graphic designer in early 2020, contributing to maximize the visual impact of presentation templates, icons and other visual assets developed for clients.
On a personal level, Luc loves jazz and rock music, and he is fascinated by the “Geek” culture. As a certain Spock says in the Star Trek series: “Live long and prosper”.
Fannie Genest

Fannie Genest joined PrezExpert after a 15-year career with multinational organisations such as Cirque du Soleil and Mars Canada.
Across her different roles, Fannie was responsible for time-sensitive support and coordination
for people of all levels. She has been recognized for her rigour, positive energy, high level of
customer service, as well as her resourcefulness in finding solutions to a wide range of challenges.
Fannie is always available to help and is a collaborator you can count on. An eternal multi-tasker and curious mind, she studied in Marketing and Publicity, and is a citizen of the world having lived on three different continents.
On the personal side, Fannie loves to hike, ski, and spend time with family and friends.
